Kman

 I think that Kman is my favorite dining option on campus. There are a lot of good things that I can say about Kman. But the main things I like about Kman first is the fact that once I swipe in I am able to get as much food as I want while I am there. And especially when the food is typically pretty good it makes it easy to go up and get seconds. And the second thing I like about Kman the most is the variety, there is always something that I will eat there whether it is the main option, sandwich, salad, pasta, or pizza there is always something for me to eat.


But as it is with everything there are, of course, some downsides to Kman but in my opinion the pros out way the cons. The biggest problem that I have with Kman is its closing time 8:30. This is way too early. Most of the students that go to north central are also athletes and for a lot of teams, some of their practices including mine Kman is always closed when I get back. And if I get typically they have put away the majority of the food so I end up hungry still and eat snacks in my dorm.


Overall I like Kman and it will continue to be the main way I get food on campus. Sure there are other options on campus but personally I typically eat a lot of food so getting seconds or even thirds is very important to me more important than the quality being a little better somewhere else.

    I agree with your thoughts on Kmans closing time and I should have talked about it in my blog as well. A lot of times, I'm busy until 8:30 and miss out on dinner at Kman. Sometimes, I get uber eats instead, but I'd rather save money and eat on campus.

    I never knew that athletes struggled on getting food after practice. K-man should stay open longer for athletes but I understand that staff needs to go home to their families. Maybe try cooking, I don't know if the dorms have kitchens but you could buy some ingredients on instacart and make a good meal.

     Dorms are a regular part of almost every college. And when you go to college you have the option of whether or not you want to live in the dorms or commute to the campus. Being a Recrute

 One of the harder things that I had to do when I was in high school was being a college recruit for sports. I did not like the idea that I had to basically sell myself to coaches if I wanted to play for them. And when I went on some college visits it was always so awkward for me because I was a lot more introverted back then than I am now and I still am today.  It can be especially difficult when meeting the team sometimes because there was one college I went to that I visited and when I met some of the players some of them were actually kind of rude and mean to me which I found very strange because I thought that would not happen. But I found out later that some of the players were intimidated by me so they ended up acting in a different way. With all of that being said about when I was a recruit which was not that long ago.
